As part of our annual Monte Carlo Masquerade, we have asked members of the community to design masquerade masks for a fundraising contest.  Please scroll through the photographs of the entries below, and click on the corresponding button to make a donation for the one you like best!  You may donate as much as you like, as often as you like, between now and October 21. Additional donations will be collected at the Monte Carlo Masquerade on October 22. The winner will be announced at the event!
Total raised so far:  $3348.30                Current leader:  Lindsay Cundiff

Designed by Emily Murray and Rachel Rasley, this Phoenix-inspired mask features the words "You've seen my descent -- now watch my rising." They feel the mask represents CODA's work to empower individuals to grow out of great adversity, and their message to you is "The lives rebuilt with CODA's help are precious; there isn't a cause more worthy of your support. Donate today!"

Cathie Laska is retired art teacher and fiber artist who presently works part time at the Swope Art Museum. She has been weaving for 30 or so years, and used weaving and felting in the creation of her mask.

Sierra Stien of FSA Counseling Center created this mask, which incorporates the awareness colors for domestic violence, sexual assault, and teen dating violence.

Picture
Designed by Tammy King and Lesley Rowe, who became friends while working at Sackrider and Company, Inc, this mask was inspired by frisky felines! Tammy and Lesley both own cats, so they decided to dress up this cat so that she'd be ready to participate in the Monte Carlo Masquerade to raise funds for CODA.

Yvette Morgan of Modern Charm designed this mask, and has a message for CODA supporters:  "Shop Local and Support Downtown Business ... Shop Modern Charm for a unique shopping experience and Get Crafty at "Charm School"...check us out on 7th and Wabash and find us on FB/Instagram."
