About CODA

CODA's Mission
The mission of the Council on Domestic Abuse, Inc. is the elimination of domestic abuse and sexual assault through societal change and the empowerment of abused individuals and their minor children.

Our Goals
  • Provide a safe environment, available around the clock, for men, women, and their minor children who are victims of domestic violence or sexual assault
  • Help build stable and independent lives through case management and programs focused on self-sufficiency
  • Prevent future cases of domestic violence and sexual assault through prevention and intervention education
  • Provide advocacy for clients involved in the law or criminal justice system and advocacy for victims of sexual assault

CODA operates with a full-time staff, a Board of Directors, and a dedicated group of volunteers and interns. Services are available to both male and female victims of domestic violence or sexual assault and their minor children regardless of age, sex, education, race, national origin, affectional preference, disabilities, veteran status, religion, or socio-economic status.
