24-Hour Crisis Line

CODA maintains a 24-hour-a-day, 365-days-a-year crisis line that provides crisis intervention, support, information, and referrals to community resources.

CODA's highest priority is the present safety of those calling the crisis line. Depending on the safety of the caller, information is taken that will lead trained staff to recommend options to the caller. Options may include emergency shelter, referrals to other agencies, protective orders, etc.

Anyone calling CODA who is in a crisis situation should try, if possible, to call from a corded land line which is much safer than a cell phone.

Anyone needing emergency shelter should also know how to disengage any GPS tracking device on vehicles, as they can also be traced.
